When Vista Icons Pack v2.0 was in start stage I created the ZIP-Folder icon, made four variants of it and published Feb 18 at Neowin forum (now there only 3 variants) to ask people, what kind of ZIP-Folder they like more. One week later Vista Build 5308 was released, it include ZIP-Folder icon, which is realy similar to mine...

The main is idea (not idea of zipper, but folder).

I create icons and web graphics, so I totally understand what you're saying. While there are a lot of similarities, it's Microsoft. Although, if you think about it, its not a surprise they came up with a similar idea, since they are called zip files (bound to happen eventually, eh?).
Even if Microsoft took your idea and improved on it, it's Microsoft. Good luck bringing that one into court. lol
